Dr. Jamie Caudill, MD.

Dr. Jamie Caudill is a native of the Wiregrass and brings more than 15 years of internal medicine & pediatric experience to Magnolia Premier Health. With extensive experience in hospital medicine, hospice & palliative care, and outpatient primary care, Dr. Caudill is well-qualified to manage acute & chronic illnesses as well as to provide quality preventative care to her patients. She is dedicated to combining the personal attention that patients desire with the increased accessibility to the physician-directed care they need.

Dr. Caudill earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Alabama, graduating summa cum laude.  She was awarded the Crampton Trust Scholarship to the University of South Alabama College of Medicine, where she obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree. Dr. Caudill completed her residency in Internal Medicine & Pediatrics at the University of South Alabama, where she was named Chief Resident for the combined Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency program. The following year, Dr. Caudill was named Chief Resident for the Internal Medicine residency program.  Dr. Caudill is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.

Dr. Caudill is a full-time hospitalist at Troy Regional Medical Center in Troy, AL, as well as physician owner-partner of Alabama Physician Weight Loss in Ozark, AL.  She is a former hospice director for Compassus Hospice and a current INSPIRATION panel speaker for Novo Nordisk pharmaceuticals, where she educates physicians across the region on the etiologies, pathophysiology, and various treatments for obesity. 

Dr. Caudill is married to her loving husband, Scott, and mother to 2 wonderful children, a 23 year-old daughter and a 9 year-old son.  She is also the proud “Honey” to her beloved 4 year-old grandson. She is an active member of Ozark Baptist Church and thoroughly enjoys teaching Sunday School to her young adult class each Sunday morning. In her limited free time, Dr. Caudill enjoys singing, playing with her children & grandson, and taking evening walks with her family. She is deeply passionate about helping others and excited to bring our community a different kind of primary care!

Dr. Lyn Diefenderfer, MD

Dr. Lyn Diefenderfer is an experienced physician specializing in internal medicine and hospitalist care. With over two decades of medical practice, Dr. Diefenderfer currently serves as the Chief Hospitalist at Troy Regional Medical Center in Troy, Alabama, where she has held the position since 2018. In this role, she manages 10-15 patients daily, overseeing an open ICU, vent management, EKG reading, and cardiac stress tests. She is responsible for coordinating surgical consults and providing 24-hour call support for subspecialty care.

Prior to her tenure at Troy Regional Medical Center, Dr. Diefenderfer worked as a hospitalist at Enterprise Medical Center, managing up to 18 patients daily, including ICU care, EKG reading, central line placements, and surgical consults. She also had a busy Internal Medicine practice from 2001-2010 at Enterprise Medical Clinic, where she managed a variety of cases across clinic, hospital, and nursing home settings.

Dr. Diefenderfer is deeply committed to patient care and medical leadership, having held medical director positions at First Choice Hospice in Elba, Alabama, as well as at Kelly Place Assisted Living and Southern Care Hospice in Enterprise. Her diverse experience spans across critical care, clinical and hospice practice, ensuring comprehensive care for a wide range of patients.

A graduate of the University of South Alabama School of Medicine (M.D., 1998) where she was the recipient of multiple scholarships to include Medical Alumni and Southern Medical Association, Dr. Diefenderfer also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences, summa cum laude, from Auburn University (1994) as well as Enterprise State Junior college. She has remained an active member in many medical associations to include the American College of Physicians, Alabama Medical Association and the local EL Gibson foundation.

Born and raised in Enterprise, AL, Dr. Diefenderfer looks forward to using her 27 years of experience in treating chronic disease, managing weight loss, hormone imbalances and preventative care for her patients with love and compassion.

Personal Information
Dr. Diefenderfer is married to Todd Diefenderfer for 30 years, with whom she has two children, Davis Anne (25) and Lew (22). Outside of her medical practice, she enjoys a variety of personal interests including running in multiple U.S. marathons.
